Online Payments

Managing payment for care should be straightforward, so we’ve outlined how our fees work, what influences costs, and how you can pay for services, whether online, in person, or through reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Understanding Costs for Services

At the Behavioral Wellness Clinic, every person’s needs are different, and so are the costs of care.

We work with a multidisciplinary team, which means fees vary depending on the type of provider you choose:

  • Licensed psychologists and prescribers have advanced training and extensive clinical experience, so their rates are higher.
  • Registered clinical counsellors, social workers, and master’s‑level clinicians provide high‑quality care at different rates.

When you book your first appointment, our reception team will provide you with a detailed profile of each provider and their associated fees, allowing you to make an informed choice.

Factors That Affect Rates

Even within the same discipline, rates can vary.

  • Clinicians trained in specialized therapies, like trauma‑focused therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), or psychedelic‑assisted therapy, may have higher fees.
  • Experienced clinicians with many years of practice may charge more than those who are newer to the field.

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you require highly specialized care, we aim to make our costs clear so you can plan with confidence.

Types of Services and Session Length

  • The cost also depends on the service and session length.
  • Comprehensive assessments and psychological testing are longer (90–120 minutes) and include scoring and report writing, so they are billed differently than standard 50- or 60-minute sessions.
  • Group workshops, family therapy, and intake consultations each have their own fee structures.
  • Shorter check‑ins, medication management, and telehealth consultations are priced separately and explained when booking.

Insurance & Reimbursement

We do not bill insurance directly. However, many people submit receipts for reimbursement through their health insurance plan, employee assistance program, or extended benefits.

Invoices include all details your insurer may require, such as provider credentials, service date, and session length. If you have questions about insurance, sliding‑scale options, or payment methods, our administrative team can help you explore the best fit for your situation.

Paying Online

You can pay for clinical services online using our secure payment links. When submitting payment, include your therapist’s name or the service you are paying for. Payments must be received before your scheduled session.
